RAS Approval Pathway scope
Currently, the RAS Approval Pathway allows researchers to apply for access to data from nine of Public Health Scotland’s most used datasets. Below, you’ll find information on which specific datasets and variables are available through this pathway.
Please note that, if your project includes datasets or variables outwith this list, including linked data, your application will follow the PBPP Approval Pathway.
Datasets and variables
From launch, the Researcher Access Service (RAS) will enable a new pathway for research projects using a study population and linkages from the following nine datasets only:
