Description

This dataset provides insights into income stability and financial fluctuations using a thirteen-week rolling window, and was developed by Smart Data Foundry for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. It includes detailed measures of income variability, payment intervals, main income sources, and employment status, helping to assess financial resilience and economic uncertainty. The data is derived from effectively anonymised personal current account records from a major UK high street bank and is accessible at microdata level through Smart Data Foundry’s Trusted Research Environment (TRE). This dataset enables in-depth research on income patterns, financial security, and the impact of income fluctuations across different demographic groups.
