Scotland’s Health Research and Innovation Conference: 23 October

14 Oct 2025
Join RDS on Thursday 23 October at Scotland’s Health Research and Innovation Conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
The Health Research and Innovation Conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, industry members, and the public to discuss changes in the health research and technology landscape. We will be delivering a talk on improving access to public sector data, connecting with attendees at an exhibition stand, and presenting a poster.
The conference will include keynote addresses, abstract presentations and awards, poster presentations, and panel discussions.
Research Data Scotland (RDS) is sponsoring a thematic parallel session on ‘Population Health and Data Science’, co-chaired by our CEO Prof. Roger Halliday. This session will include a presentation by our Service Owner Suhail Iqbal on ‘Researcher Access Service - Enabling faster, simpler access to public sector data for research in the public good.’ Delegates can also find out more about our latest Public Engagement Fund projects at the poster presentation session or visit our exhibition stand to find out more about our work.
Join us to learn how we are helping researchers make public sector data more secure and accessible.
